With our friends saying that xcweather was showing some wind early in the morning and with us camping on the edge of the bay I was rigging my new x-15 7m on my xantos at 5.30 in the morning !!!! My meter was reading anything between 10 an 16 kts so things were looking good for a blast across the bay,but sadly the wind dropped to 10 and I had several runs out toward the ferry dock in the crystal clear blue water !!! Even Peter and Sally came down with all their kit but I gave up as the wind died completely :( The day improved in the afternoon when I walked out in the bay to see some baby seals and I was escorted back to the beach by four adults seals !!! So a 1 star windsurf session in a 5 star venue !!!!
